Albiceleste enters the tournament with a strong pedigree. The winner of the U20 FIFA World Cup in Canada was led two years ago by Argentine coach Sergio Batista of the 2008 Olympics. Although Franco Di Santo and Pablo Piatti were not released by Chelsea and Almeria, the team is still as strong as anyone else in the competition. Batista won the award with Emiliano Insua, the left defender liked to run for Liverpool’s first team in the Premier League.

Oscar Villegas was with most of the under-17 group that surpassed their age group in Ecuador two years ago. Several of the team are also solid top teams for Bolivia’s top clubs. Villegas bravely incorporated three 16-year-olds into his team, whom he believed were ready to climb. Anyone who doubts Bolivia’s ability to go far in the tournament will not see their recent friendly defeat against Argentina.
